Norway has beaten all previous records and exported seafood worth NOK 65 billion this year to date. This is an increase of 26 per cent or NOK 13.2 billion compared with the same period last year. September exports marked an all time high, totalling NOK 8.8 billion. An increase of 31 per cent or NOK 2.1 billion from September 2015.
Norway exported seafood worth NOK 7.1 billion in August. This is an increase of 32 per cent or NOK 1.7 billion compared with August 2015. Year-to-date seafood exports currently total NOK 56.3 billion. An increase of 25 per cent or NOK 11.2 billion compared with the same period in 2015.
The price of Norwegian salmon remains high. With an average price of NOK 58 per kg, export values in August were 42 per cent higher than the same month in 2015. Norwegian trout prices have doubled.
Norway exported seafood worth NOK 6.6 billion in July. This is an increase of 15 per cent or NOK 882 million compared with July 2015. So far this year, seafood exports have totalled NOK 49.2 billion. An increase of 24 per cent or NOK 9.5 billion compared to the same period in 2015.

So far this year Norwegian seafood exports have totalled NOK 28.8 billion. This is an increase of 26 per cent or NOK 5.9 billion year-on-year.
Norway has so far exported 5,160 tonnes of fresh, whole quality marked Skrei codfish in 2016. This year's season has been characterized by good quality, high prices and high demand.

Norway exported salmon to a market value of NOK 13.4 billion in Q1. This is an increase of 21 per cent, or NOK 2.34 billion from the first quarter of 2015. Measured by volume, some 227,464 tonnes of salmon were exported during the first quarter. By volume, this represents a small decline of 6 percent compared with the first quarter of 2015.
