  • Salmon Exports Increase In Volume and Value

    Norway exported salmon worth NOK 3.3 billion in February. An increase of 2 per cent or NOK 80 million year-on-year, according to figures from the Norwegian Seafood Council. 73,250 tonnes of salmon were exported from Norway in February. This represents an increase of 11 per cent compared to February 2014.

  • Modest fall for Norwegian salmon exports

    Norway exported salmon worth NOK 3.5 billion in January. This represents a modest fall of NOK 143 million or 4 per cent from the record month of January 2014. January 2015 was the second best month ever for Norwegian salmon exports.

    Norway exported salmon worth NOK 43.9 billion in 2014. This is the highest export level ever for salmon and is an 11 per cent gain on 2013.

  • Sharp Rise In Salmon Prices

    ​Norway exported salmon worth NOK 3.9 billion in November. This is a reduction of NOK 96 million, or 2 per cent, compared with November 2013. Year to date salmon exports total NOK 39.6 billion. This is NOK 4.4 billion, or 12 per cent, more than the same period in 2013, according to data from the Norwegian Seafood Council.

  • Small dip in October sales for Norwegian salmon

    The export value of Norwegian salmon was NOK 4 billion in October. This represents a small decline of NOK 130 million, or 3 per cent, compared with October 2013. The first time that salmon´s monthly export value has fallen in two years. So far this year Norwegian salmon exports have totalled NOK 35.8 billion, NOK 4.5 billion, or 14 per cent higher than the same period in 2013.
