Norway exported salmon worth NOK 43.9 billion in 2014. This is the highest export level ever for salmon and is an 11 per cent gain on 2013.

Record Year For Norwegian Seafood
Norway exported seafood worth NOK 6.6 billion in November, the same monthly total as November 2013. However year to date seafood exports have reached NOK 62.5 billion, an increase of NOK 7 billion, or 13 per cent, compared with the same period last year. This represents a new export record, surpassing the totals for the whole of 2013 by almost NOK 900 million.

Sharp Rise In Salmon Prices
Norway exported salmon worth NOK 3.9 billion in November. This is a reduction of NOK 96 million, or 2 per cent, compared with November 2013. Year to date salmon exports total NOK 39.6 billion. This is NOK 4.4 billion, or 12 per cent, more than the same period in 2013, according to data from the Norwegian Seafood Council.

October sales a record month for Norwegian seafood
Norwegian seafood exports totalled NOK 7.6 billion in October. An increase of NOK 393 million, or 5 per cent, compared with October 2013. This is a monthly all time high for Norwegian seafood. So far this year, the combined export value of Norwegian seafood stands at NOK 56 billion, an increase of NOK 7 billion, or 14 per cent, compared with the same period last year.

Small dip in October sales for Norwegian salmon
The export value of Norwegian salmon was NOK 4 billion in October. This represents a small decline of NOK 130 million, or 3 per cent, compared with October 2013. The first time that salmon´s monthly export value has fallen in two years. So far this year Norwegian salmon exports have totalled NOK 35.8 billion, NOK 4.5 billion, or 14 per cent higher than the same period in 2013.

Norwegian salmon exports on the rise
The value of exports of Norwegian salmon in September totalled NOK 3.5 billion.This is an increase of NOK 232 million, or 7 per cent, compared to the same period last year.To date, total exports of salmon have totalled NOK 31.9 billion.This is an increase of NOK 4.7 million, or 17 per cent, compared to last September.
