Strong growth in Mackerel exports in September

The value of exports of Norwegian seafood in August totalled NOK 4.8 billion, up NOK 157 million, or 3 per cent, compared to last August.To date, Norwegian seafood exports have totalled NOK 42.4 billion, an increase of NOK 5.9 billion, or 16 per cent, compared to the same month last year.
The value of exports of Norwegian salmon in August totalled NOK 3.6 billion, an increase of NOK 101 million, or 3 per cent, compared to last August.According to figures from the Norwegian Seafood Council, measured in product weight, the exported amount increased by 8,50 tonnes, or 11 per cent, to 85,000 tons.
The value of exports of Norwegian codfish in August was NOK 824 million, an increase of NOK 67 million, or 9 per cent, compared to last August. According to figures from the Norwegian Seafood Council, this was accompanied by a decrease in the exported volume of 4 per cent.
The Norwegian Seafood Council announced today that that the ban on import of food products from the United States, the EU, Canada, Australia and Norway to Russia also will include Norwegian seafood.
The value of Norwegian seafood exports during July totalled NOK 4.9 billion, an increase of NOK 375 million, or 8 per cent, compared to last July. To date, Norwegian seafood exports have totalled NOK 37.6 billion, an increase of NOK 5.7 billion, or 18 per cent, compared to the same month last year.
The value of exports of Norwegian salmon in July totalled NOK 3.6 billion. According to figures from the Norwegian Seafood Council, this is an increase of NOK 358 million, or 11 percent, compared to the same month last year.
The value of exports of Norwegian codfish in July was NOK 733 million. According to figures from the Norwegian Seafood Council, this is an increase of NOK 47 million, or 7 percent, compared to the same month last year.
