Reduced exports of shellfish in 2017

Norway exported 40,000 tonnes of shellfish valued at NOK 1.7 billion in 2017. This is a decrease in volume of 2 per cent and a reduction in value of 7 per cent from 2016.

The Norwegian Seafood Council works with the Norwegian fisheries and aquaculture industries to develop markets for Norwegian seafood through local market intelligence, market development and reputational risk management.
