Norway exported salmon worth NOK 4.3 billion in January. An increase of 18 per cent or NOK 644 million compared to January 2015. This represents an all-time high for the month of January. Measured by volume, 73,463 tonnes of salmon were exported in January, which is 4 per cent, or 3,300 tonnes less than in January 2015.
Norway exported salmon worth NOK 47.7 billion in 2015. This is an increase of 9 per cent or NOK 3.9 billion compared with 2014, and it is the highest export value ever for salmon.
Norway exported seafood worth NOK 74.5 billion in 2015. This is 8 per cent, or NOK 5.8 billion, more than the record year of 2014.

This is the first time Norway has exported seafood worth more than NOK 8 billion in a single month. So far this year, seafood exports have totalled NOK 60 billion. So far this year Norway has exported seafood worth NOK 51.8 billion. This represents an increase of NOK 3.6 billion or 7 per cent year-on-year. September total seafood exports were worth NOK 6.7 billion. This is an increase of 11 per cent or NOK 682 million compared with September 2014.

Norwegian salmon exports totalled NOK 3.7 billion in August. This represents an increase of NOK 411 million, or 12 per cent compared with the same month in 2014. Exports by volume were reduced by 3,700 tonnes, or 4 per cent year-on-year, to 80,000 tonnes.
Norway exported seafood to the value of NOK 5.7 billion in July 2015. This is an increase of NOK 729 million, or 15 per cent, compared with the same month in 2014. Year-to-date seafood exports currently stand at NOK 39.7 billion. An increase of NOK 2.2 billion.
